Yesterday, I had a strange gut feeling that I could be pregnant, so I took a test and within a minute, the result came back--yes, I AM PREGNANT!  I can hardly believe it and it just seems too good to be true.  I also ended up taking a blood test yesterday and found out this morning that I am positively pregnant.  I pray to the good Lord that he will see me through the whole pregnancy and that the baby will be safe, healthy & normal.  Thank you Lord for all your blessings for our family! Next week, I will have my first ultrasound to see how far along I am...I cannot wait!

Today is my coworker's  last day of work and it's a bit depressing.  She's been a very good friend to me, really more than anyone in my life.  She's starting a new leaf and I'm quite excited for her because she will do what she's dreamed of and worked hard for these past eight years.  It's such a cliche saying that "good friends are hard to find," but seriously, it's dead on. I mean, as you get older, I think it's harder to keep or find friends unless you work with them. 

So to my dear friend, I dedicate the poem that speaks volumes to me about love and friendship.  I wish you the best of luck with your new venture, but know that I will always be here whenever you need someone:

I have NEVER heard of the music group JOURNEY, but I have heard most of their songs.  I wasn't a fan of 80's music, but anyhow, I have recently learned that they found a new lead singer for their band and the best part of it is that they found this guy on YOUTUBE!  He used to sing for a cover band in the Philippines and OMG, his voice is dead-on with the previous lead singer.  I just thought it's amazing that a fellow FILIPINO is now the new lead singer of a mega band like JOURNEY. 

Needless to say, I became an instant fan...see for yourself!

So this is my first blog...ever.  I'm a bit nervous about starting one because mainly I have commitment issues, I don't have a lot of time outside of work/family/kid, but I need an outlet.  Some place I can unload my thoughts, which will hopefully make me a more sane person!  I named this blog "Total Nonsense" because like other super cool bloggers out there who actually have a purpose in blogging--I don't.  I am probably going to post things that make no "sense" to anyone else but me.  But hey, what are the chances anyone will actually pay attention to this anway?  Slim to none...but me!
